The following Terms & Conditions shall apply to all orders placed on the Love Leather website, over the telephone, by email or by post. Placing your order this way indicates your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. We will send you confirmation by email that we have received your order.
These Terms & Conditions do not affect your statutory rights. Please read them carefully and print a copy for your records.
All items featured on this website are normally delivered to the customer within 2-4 weeks. Each product description has an estimated delivery time. In all cases delivery quotes are not guaranteed but should be regarded as a guide to the anticipated waiting time under normal circumstances.
We guarantee to deliver your order within 4 calendar weeks from your payment date. If we do not meet this deadline you are entitled to cancel your order and receive a full refund.
All prices on our website are exclusive of delivery charges. During the checkout process you can choose from Weekday at £14.99 or Free Weekday Delivery on orders over £500 in value. Please note that there will only be one delivery driver, so very large products may require some assistance at the delivery point. The delivery will only be made to the ground floor. Unfortunately no delivery time slots are available. We will not be held responsible for failed delivery times or dates by the carrier.
Replacement of damaged, faulty or incorrect goods
Goods that are damaged, faulty or incorrect on arrival with the customer will be replaced at no additional cost. It is in the customers own interests to unwrap and fully inspect all furniture at the time of delivery unless there is clear visible damage to the product when still packed, if so it’s advised to not accept the parcel and not to unpack it. Customers have up to 7 days following delivery to report damaged, faulty or incorrect orders. Any claims must be supported by photographs and it is the responsibility of the customer to show that any damage has not been caused by misuse or mishandling following delivery. If the product received has a genuine problem we will repair or replace it within 14 days upon receiving the item back to us. You must repack the item, ideally in its original packaging ready for collection by the courier on your chosen weekday.
(Please note that genuine leathers have naturally occurring characteristics, hallmarks of it’s origin for example, healed and open scarring, tight and open grain, growth marks and neck wrinkles. These occur in all hides, however their numbers and severity differ from hide to hide. Like the grain in timber every hide is unique, not faults but the signatures of one of the most desirable aspiration materials the world over. Defects in leather that would render the product returnable would be a rip or tear for instance.)
As all our products are personalised or made to your exact specifications including materials, colours and measurements, we are unfortunately unable to accept returns unless we otherwise agree to. Charges will apply if we do agree to accept a return. Collection will be charged at the original delivery cost and 30% will be deducted off the original purchase price. The original delivery cost will not be refunded.
Cancelling or amending an order
You have the right to cancel your order for up to 7 days from the time it was placed at no charge and receive a full refund, before it enters the production stage. After this time it will be at our discretion and a cancellation fee of 15% may be deducted from the total paid.
If you make a mistake when you place your order, colour or size for instance, contact us immediately and we will amend your order free of charge. We will do this up to 7 days after placing your order, thereafter it will be at our discretion. We will always do our best to accommodate our customer’s circumstances where possible. Sale items are excluded from these conditions and can only be returned for a credit note.
All our products come with a 12 month return to base warranty against manufacturing defects. If your product develops a fault please take some images and email them to us with a description of the fault to start a claim.
Any products found to be faulty must be repacked by you ready for collection by the courier. We will then repair any damage and return the item back to you within 14 days of receipt. If a button has simply popped off, we can send a very simple DIY repair kit if you prefer free of charge.
As leather is a natural product the surface/finish of the leather is not covered by any warranty. Please take care of the leather and it will remain in beautiful condition for years.
All the specifications and images are provided by us and we endeavour to deliver products accurate to them.
We also intend to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products on our website, however as different computers display colour tones differently we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the pictures or photographs that are shown. If you are concerned about an item’s finish please use our leather sample service.
Payment & price
The total price payable for the goods will be stated at the time when you place your order. All prices on our website are fully inclusive with no hidden extras, but do exclude delivery charges which will be payable as indicated at the time of placing your order.
We accept most major credit and debit cards. Payments are conveniently processed in real time by PayPal on their secure servers. If you prefer you can call us with your card details and we can take payment via our secure online terminal. When ordering you must provide us with your exact billing address and telephone number – the address and phone number your issuing bank has on file for your card. Your order will only be processed once authorisation of your card has been properly received. You may also pay by PayPal or bank transfer.
Availability of goods
All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we do not supply the goods for any reason we will not charge you for these and we will refund any money already paid for them. However we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses suffered by you if we do not supply the goods.
