General
The following Terms & Conditions shall apply to all orders placed on the Love Leather website, over the telephone, by email or by post. Placing your order this way indicates your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. We will send you confirmation by email or letter that we have received your order.
These Terms & Conditions do not affect your statutory rights. Please read them carefully and print a copy for your records.
Delivery Times
All items featured on this website are normally delivered to the customer within 3-6 weeks. Each product description has an average delivery time stated which we usually achieve. In all cases delivery quotes are not guaranteed but should be regarded as a guide to the anticipated waiting time under normal circumstances.
As soon as your order is ready to be dispatched, we will contact you by email or phone with a delivery day and the option to choose a later day if this more convenient for you. A signature will be required upon delivery of your goods.
Additional items ordered may be sent separately, but we aim to have them delivered more or less on the same day for your convenience.
We do guarantee to give you a delivery day within 6 calendar weeks from your payment date. If we do not meet this deadline, you are entitled to cancel your order and receive a full refund including any delivery fee paid.
Delivery Charges
All prices on our website are exclusive of delivery charges. During the order process you can choose from the following delivery options. Monday - Friday, Monday - Friday AM, Saturday or Highlands & Islands. Prices will be shown at the checkout stage. We use the following carriers, TNT and DHL. Unfortunately no delivery time slots are available. We will not be held responsible for failed delivery times where the courier is at fault. However, we will refund your delivery fee if you ask us too.
Replacement of Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Goods
Goods that are damaged, faulty or incorrect on arrival with the customer will be replaced at no additional cost. It is in the customers own interests to unwrap and fully inspect all furniture at the time of delivery, unless there is clear visible damage to the product when still packed, if so, it's advised to not accept the parcel or not to unpack it. Customers have up to 7 days following delivery to report damaged, faulty or incorrect orders. Any claims must be supported by photographs and it is the responsibility of the customer to show that any damage has not been caused by misuse or mishandling following delivery. If the product received has a genuine problem, we will make it right within 14 days of your receipt.
(Please note that genuine leathers have naturally occurring characteristics, hallmarks of it's origin for example, healed and open scarring, tight and open grain, growth marks and neck wrinkles. These occur in all hides, however their numbers and severity differ from hide to hide. Like the grain in timber every hide is unique, not faults but the signatures of one of the most desirable aspiration materials the world over. Defects in leather that would render the product returnable would be a rip or tear for instance.)
Returns
As all our products are personalised or made to your exact specifications including materials, colours and measurements, we are unfortunately unable to accept returns, unless we otherwise agree to. Charges will apply if we do agree to accept a return for the collection charged at the original delivery cost and a 30% restocking fee will be deducted off the original purchase price when refunded. The original delivery cost will not be refunded.
Cancelling or Amending an Order
You have the right to cancel your order for up to seven days from the time it was placed at no charge and receive a full refund. After this time, it will be at our discretion and a cancellation fee of 15% may be deducted from the total paid. If you make a mistake when you place your order, colour or size for instance, contact us immediately and we will amend your order free of charge. We will do this up to 7 days after placing your order, thereafter it will be at our discretion. We will always do our best to accommodate our customer’s circumstances where possible.
Product Information
All the specifications and images are provided by us and we endeavour to deliver products accurate to them.
We also intend to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products on our website, however, as different computers display colour tones differently, we cannot guarantee the complete accuracy of the pictures or photographs that are shown. If you are concerned about an item's finish please use our leather sample service.
Payment and Price
The total price payable for the goods will be stated at the time when you place your order. All prices on our website are fully inclusive with no hidden extras, but do exclude delivery charges which will be payable as indicated at the time of placing your order.
Payment Methods
We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa & Visa Electron, Master Card, Maestro and Solo. Payments are conveniently processed in real time by PayPal over the internet on RomanCart’s secure servers. If you prefer, you can call us with your card details and we can take payment via our secure online terminal. When ordering you must provide us with your exact billing address and telephone number - the address and phone number your issuing bank has on file for your card. Your order will only be processed once authorization of your card has been properly received. You may also pay by PayPal Express Checkout, bank transfer or cheque, although we cannot dispatch the goods until payment has been cleared.
Availability of Goods
All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we do not supply the goods for any reason we will not charge you for these and we will refund any money already paid for them. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses suffered by you if we do not supply the goods.
