All the leather we use is manufactured to meet cigarette and match tests as a minimum which is the current legal requirement.

Most can also be treated with a special fire retardant application to comply with UK ignition source crib 5 for contract use, when tested in conjunction with combustion modified foam.

This is carried out at the tannery treatment facility by one of their leather technicians and only adds 1 to 2 days to the lead time. The cost does vary depending on quantity needed, so please contact us with your requirements.

We are therefore able, not only to offer our headboards for home use, but also in any hotel or business that requires crib 5 for legal and insurance purposes.
