Welcome to the Love Leather website. We would like to take this opportunity to give you a clear insight to, who we are, what we do and why we do it, so please read on.
Who we are
A small family run business based in the lovely village of Ebberston, North Yorkshire.
Love Leather was formed into a company in the Spring of 2008 by it’s Director, Rachael Armstrong. Hard working and motivated, she oversees all marketing and financial matters. When time will allow, her wonderful creative passion for fine interiors and design is exhibited, which lends itself perfectly in new product direction.
Working alongside her is Manager of the company, Simon. Reliable, thorough and with machine like operation could be a few words that describe him. Or perhaps, a furniture designer and master upholsterer with a decorated career that has spanned over 15 years from when he was an apprentice would be better. Whether it’s recovering dining chairs, restoring a traditional Victorian deep buttoned Chesterfield in leather or designing and manufacturing a new Retro leather suite, Simon has pretty much done it all. If he changed his name, infrastructure would be it, he brings the absolutely vital skills required to the design and manufacture of our products here at Love Leather.
In addition to us, Love Leather Limited employs the services of a small, dedicated team of staff to help deal with manufacture, dispatching and other day-to-day business matters.
What we do
When the company was formed early in 2008, the Classic headboard was our sole product. Despite this, our bespoke service allowed us to manufacture it in any width, height, leather colour and leather style. This gave us an immediate advantage over many rivals selling only standard sizes.
As time passes, more designs, better quality leathers and even Swarovski crystals have been introduced to our beautiful studded range of headboards. We strive to keep our website current, informative, user friendly and with stunning images of our products. We have tried to design these with something in mind to suit everyone.
We stand out from the crowd because of our ability to offer our customers such a diverse professional service, seldom seen anywhere else. From the wide range of 100% genuine leathers available to choose from, to a fully customizable bespoke design service, we aim to lead in our market sector.
Additional benefits to you the customer, is our overheads are extremely low as our products are made from scratch in our own workshop here in Ebberston. This in turn allows us to provide excellent value for money products for sale on our eCommerce website.
Why we do it
It’s fairly simple really, we like what we do and we’re very good at it.
When you buy from Love Leather, you buy a special piece of leather furniture made to order for you, not an imported, mass produced product that has no special importance. All made with fine grain leather. We will never use faux (fake), bi-cast (shiny plastic coated), imitation or any other sub-standard leather.
